writer/editor at LA Times, PBS, Newsweek, McGraw-Hill 1960-1988. Manager of
JPL's public affairs office, 1988-1999. Brief post-retirement stints in
business and university PR, but said "basta, basta" last year. Have NEVER
voted Republican in ANY election at ANY level. P&F, yes, once or twice;
Green, occasionally, but "R" -- never.
Personal: Married 34 years to Daryl, wonderful woman who's also Ob-Gyn;
father of four adult children [three of them staunch Dems]; and delighted
grandfather of five [am on-working their political consciousness].
